In March 2020, a group of wild Asian elephants called the "Short-nosed Family" set off from the Mengyangzi Nature Reserve in Xishuangbanna, Yunnan Province, and traveled all the way north, until April 16, 2021, they walked out of their traditional habitat, and nearly four months later, on August 8, under the guidance of humans, they began to return to their original habitat under the guidance of humans. This book is co-published by Joint Publishing (Hong Kong) Company Limited and Yunnan Education Publishing House, and jointly created by publishers, elephant research experts, elephant monitoring and protection staff, photographers and other professionals in Hong Kong and Yunnan.
