Botany by Your Side: Hong Kong's Seasonal Colours—Autumn
This set of books are divided into four volumes and contain 100 common plants in urban and rural areas of Hong Kong.
The books systematically use the most prominent colours of plants (flower colour, fruit colour, leaf colour) as an index. You can easily find the information based on the colour even if you have no idea of the name of the variety. The books contain more than 1,600 physical photos from different angles and focal lengths, which can be combined with the 3D plant model records produced by Shiu-Ying Hu Herbarium, as well as the 360-degree VR environment records that can observe the real growth status of plants, using new angles and digital interactive media to explore the plants around us.
Autumn
Autumn is the fruiting period for many plants, so in addition to 8 varieties that bloom in autumn with flower colours including yellow, green, white, purple, red, etc., this volume also includes 17 varieties with distinctive fruit colours, including yellow, green, black and red, a total of 25 colours in the book.
