Botany by Your Side: Hong Kong's Seasonal Colours—Summer
This set of books are divided into four volumes and contain 100 common plants in urban and rural areas of Hong Kong.
The books systematically use the most prominent colours of plants (flower colour, fruit colour, leaf colour) as an index. You can easily find the information based on the colour even if you have no idea of the name of the variety. The books contain more than 1,600 physical photos from different angles and focal lengths, which can be combined with the 3D plant model records produced by Shiu-Ying Hu Herbarium, as well as the 360-degree VR environment records that can observe the real growth status of plants, using new angles and digital interactive media to explore the plants around us.
Summer
When summer comes, many plants start to bear fruit, and it is the season that reminds people of fruits. Therefore, in addition to the 18 varieties that bloom in summer, with flower colours including red, orange, yellow, green, white, purple and others, this volume also includes 7 varieties with striking fruit colours, including red, orange, yellow, green, with a total of 25 types contained in the whole book.
