The Chan-terbury Tales Volume 1: The Legend of the Chicken Feet Heroes
Professor Chan established the Special Topic Course "Global Health and Humanitarian Medicine" at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. To help students apply what they have learned, she and her team visited 100 remote ethnic minority villages in the Mainland that are affected by poverty and natural disasters to find suitable bases for on-site education. This book contains short stories that happened in the process of building a field experience Xi model in China for more than ten years. Over the years, with the participation and dedication of all team members, coupled with a little luck, we have overcome all kinds of strange difficulties encountered on the journey. In the process, Professor Chan also discovered a number of outstanding and determined teachers with a mission to educate the next generation, who are known as "Chicken Feet Heroes" in the book.
