This book contains 23 prose poems written by Mr. Lu Xun from 1924 to 1926. In July 1927, the first edition was published by Beijing Beixin Book Company, and it was listed as one of the "Rabble Series" edited by Lu Xun. Lu Xun was printed in 12 editions during his lifetime.
It is my sin that the mud of life is abandoned to the earth, and no trees grow but only weeds. The weeds are not deep at all, and the flowers and leaves are not beautiful, but they absorb the dew, the water, the blood and flesh of the dead, and each takes its own survival.
