Learn English Writing Through Comics 3
“I hate writing!” “I don’t want to write it!”
Whenever there is a writing lesson, the classroom is always filled with groans. In a city where English is used as a second language, most children find it challenging to use an English word correctly, let alone writing a whole composition. Besides, they are required to use “beautiful words” in their writings, such as replacing the word “happy” with “joyful”.
To enhance vocabulary learning, some teachers rely on sample essays and word lists, but to little avail. However, if children can learn through reading comics, they will be able to absorb new vocabulary and the content of stories easily. In each chapter of the book, we draw a story based on common writing topics in schools, followed by different writing techniques, words and idioms. We hope that this book helps improve children’s writings skills as well as igniting their interest in learning English.
Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. Allowing children to learn English in a relaxed way will surely lead to unexpected results.
