Founded in 1939, the Hong Kong Printers Association is the oldest and most representative printing industry organization in Hong Kong. The Hong Kong Printers Association (HKPIA) strengthens its industry cohesion through liaison with government departments and associations around the world, publishes the publication Printed in Hong Kong, sets up a portal www.hkprinters.org, organises large-scale seminars and study visits, sets up a training and research institute "Printing Technology Research Centre", and provides preferential services, etc., to strengthen the cohesion of the industry, seek well-being for the industry and enhance its competitive advantage. Over the years, the Chamber has been acting as a bridge between the industry, establishing mutual trust and close relationships with relevant departments in Chinese mainland, and leading the industry to expand foreign exchanges and cooperation.
